• 明智 + 皇女 = 明皇. 明 means "bright, clear, to reveal." 皇 means "emperor, imperial, heaven." so together , their names mean bright heaven. which is a direct ref to "our light" by lyn which also (allegedly) happens to be the song talking about akechi. though the song seems to be discussing akeshu's connection, akemi also heavily relates to the song given their history.

• mina has a deep connection with / mirrors lucifer — once stood by god's side but "fell off" ( im sorry i just wanted to word it this way )

• she also tied to luciferism. in such a religion, lucifer tends to prioritise his followers coming into themselves more and growing as individuals who express themselves for themselves. this is the lesson mina is meant to learn.

• the reason why lucifer is her persona (on top of the things just mentioned) from the start, is because before becoming a persona user, mina secretly admired lucifer. and his character is something mina looks up to.

• mina cannot be romanced. if the player attempts, she'll politely reject them, saying that her eyes are on someone else but in a riddle because she's girlboss like that.

• mina's dodge is like sunna's from zzz. the whole wings fluttering back and moving her out of the way.

• it is recommended that the player gets up to rank 7 before completing shido's palace. mina cannot be maxed out until after ▆▆▆▆▆▆▆ .

• after that event, mina's second awakening is automatically triggered.

• mina MUST be on the team during shido's boss fight.

• mina sees her hero self as an angel nurse. this is due to her religious background and people pleasing tendencies. the maid qualities on her outfit comes from working at the maid cafe.

• the artist arcana comes from the ethereal visions tarot deck (which i own). here is what the artist card means: The Artist is the vessel of creations. This card signifies mankind and shows when you need to open to the knowledge that is available if you stop and set aside the distractions of the human condition and listen. Upright: Visionary, interpreter, creation, passionate. Reversed: Unstable, judgemental, restless, greedy.

bullshit akemi qol ingame stuff:

• during sae's palace heist and the bonus palace heist, if the player has akechi on the team without her, she will make a remark about it. the same happens vice versa. if the player puts her on the team, but leaves akechi out, she'll stop the player and ask if they'll put akechi on the team. (this yearner bro...)
• if the player invites akechi and mina to play darts or pool together at the same time, they'll both give the player one extra point towards their confidant rank.
• mina has a higher chance of critical hits if akechi is on the team. (show off perk or something lmfao)
• during akechi's bossfight, he will target mina if she is on the team (because they're both bpd havers who self sabotage sometimes)
